Multi-storey apartment tower in Leninsky prospect

Leninsky Prospect 77-79, Moscow

architects: Sergey Kisselev, Michael Chirkov
engineer: Igor Shvartsman
client: AOZT KONEKS

design time: 1994-1995
construction: 1995-2000

This 23-storey tower block was interpreted as the crowning element of the enite street block in which it stands. The use of bricks of two colours for the facades visually reduces the building's volume, while the dark-green metal details impart a finished look. Of the total floor area of 20,500m2, non-residential space occupies 3000m2, while 1270m2 is taken up by the underground car park.
