The use of new design technologies including computer modelling and animation made it possible to
prove to the municipality that this site is perfectly suited to a 6-storey house with a total floor area of
5927m2, instead of the 3-storey building with 870m2 floor area specified by the planning
documents.
The building is a link between a 19th-century architectural monument a brick 12-storey tower block.
This proiect was nominated for the Union of Moscow Architects Golden Section award as best building in 2001.
