JV «Eurasia Transstroy» office building in Gorlov Tupik
Gorlov tupik lot 11-13, TsAO, Moscow
architects: Michael Chirkov, Sergey Kisselev, Konstantin Khodnev
engineers: Igor Shvartsman, Sergey Gaigerov
design work: 1998-2001
construction: 2000-2001
client: JV «Eurasia Transstroy»
An office building located in the knee of Gorlov blind alley partially restores the lost local
environment of the so-called «jail officers’ property» – the area adjacent to Butyrsky jail
castle. This relatively small building combines a number of functions as requested by the
Client – a bridge construction firm. The ground level houses a shop with service boxes for
construction machines, and a car park. Offices, a mini-hotel and a winter garden are located
on the upper levels.
