The problem of building a large multifunctional complex (total floor area: 20,400m2,
including 15,200m2 above ground) on a plot of land only yards from the Arbat was solved with the use of two types
of decorative brick to dress the facade, breaking up the building's length into volumes of different sizes that suited
the scale of the old city.
Unfortunately, a change of investor brought with it a change of design team. The plot in question is now occupied by another building.
