This vast shopping and entertainments centre (total floor area: 146,000 m2) has been designed as a unified volume consisting of several blocks with different functions. «A plastic approach to length» is the principal theme of the main facade, which faces the Moscow Ring Road. The smooth curves of the multicoloured facades of the central leisure block and of the two shopping blocks which flank it contrast with the straight formed by the feathered steel cornice. The design was awarded a «Golden Section» by the Union of Moscow Architects in 2000 for «best building design».
