Situated in the interior of a street block, in the tnangle formed by the intersection of Polyanka and Ordynka,
this curving building responds to the courses followed by both streets, while the stylistic neutrality of its
facades is in keeping with the «background nature» of its perceived role.
The contradiction between the building's size (overall floor area: 7000m2) and the scale of the architecture
that surrounds it encourages us to see it as containing two volumes each of which interacts with the other,
as well as with neighbounng buildings. It is this that determines the building's main structural cnaracter.
